Where do you deliver?

Our delivery services cover a wide area, including Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, and Ericeira. We also deliver to nearby locations such as Mafra, Barril, Carvoeira, Lagoa, Ribamar, Santo Isidoro, São Julião, and São Lourenço.

At what time can I expect my flowers to be delivered? Can I request the flowers be delivered at a specific time?

Our daily deliveries are completed Mondays through Saturdays, from 9am to 5pm GMT Portugal time. Due to high volume of orders we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. If you would like your flowers be delivered at a specific time there is an additional fee of €10.

What if the recipient is not home to receive the flowers?

If the recipient isn’t home to receive the flowers, we will leave your floral orders at a safe location near the door and ring the doorbell. In case no one is there to receive the flowers, we will notify the recipient via text or phone call. If no contact information was provided for the recipient, we will notify the sender via email. If the flowers are being sent to an apartment building or condominium, we will either leave the flowers with the front desk or at the front entrance of the building, depending on the building's regulations. In case no one is there to receive the flowers, we will notify the recipient via text or phone call. If no contact information was provided for the recipient, we will notify the sender via email. * PLEASE double check that we are given the CORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS and a WORKING PHONE NUMBER for your recipient! 

What happens if I gave the wrong delivery address on my order? Will I get a refund?

Amanecer Floral cannot be held responsible in the event of incorrect address information provided for floral delivery. Due to our high volume of orders, we regret that we are unable to offer a second delivery attempt, and clients will not be eligible for a refund under these circumstances. Your flower order will be made available for pick-up at our shop for a period of up to two days. Should you fail to collect your order within this time frame, the amount paid may be applied towards a future order within 2 months.

What is your Delivery Policy?

Delivery Date & Time

For international orders, please keep in mind the time difference and place your order at least a day before the desired delivery date. Our delivery window is from 9am-5pm GMT Portugal time, we cannot promise a specific delivery time.

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERIES: For residential deliveries, we will leave your floral orders at a safe location near the door and ring the doorbell. In case no one is there to receive the flowers, we will notify the recipient via text or phone call. If no contact information was provided for the recipient, we will notify the sender via email.

Due to high order volume, we may not be able to wait for someone to receive the flowers, therefore we kindly ask you to remain on standby to receive the flowers or to notify your recipient that the flowers have been delivered. We are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by weather, theft or other uncontrollable factors.

APARTMENT BUILDING & CONDOMINIUM DELIVERIES: For deliveries to condominiums and apartment buildings, we will either leave the flowers with the front desk or at the front entrance of the building, depending on the building's regulations. In case no one is there to receive the flowers, we will notify the recipient via text or phone call. If no contact information was provided for the recipient, we will notify the sender via email.

Delivery Addresses & Information

We strive to deliver your flowers as quickly as possible, however, it's crucial that the client provides us with accurate delivery information. Amanecer Floral cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies in the information provided by the person placing the order, including incorrect addresses or phone numbers. If a delivery attempt is made to an incorrect or incomplete address provided, the person who placed the order may be charged an additional fee for any further delivery attempts.

What is your Return Policy?

At Amanecer Floral, we take pride in providing our clients with beautiful, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements using fresh, seasonal flowers. While our website images may give you an idea of size and style, please note that no two Amanecer Floral designs are exactly alike and the selection of flowers change based on what's in season and looks freshest on market. To ensure the longevity of the flowers, it's essential that the client understands that fresh flowers are delicate and require proper care. We guarantee a minimum vase life of 72 hours for flowers picked up or delivered by us. For additional care instruction, please refer to our Flower Care Guide.

If you have any issue with the quality of the flowers, please contact us within 72 hours of your pickup or delivery date at hello@amanecerfloral.design, with a detailed description and pictures of the flowers. We will gladly exchange any defective arrangement/bouquet with a new one. However, please note that we do not offer refunds.

We also do not offer refunds or replacements due to individual preferences in flower choices. If you have a specific request, please let us know before placing your order. Otherwise, all arrangements/bouquets chosen under "Designer's Choice" are created with our own chosen selection of blooms.

How do I take care of my flowers at home?

The way you treat your flowers will impact how long they last!  We developed a FLOWER CARE GUIDE for your convenience, outlining each step on how to maximize the lifespan of your flowers along with a homemade flower food mix recipe.

✿ CARING FOR YOUR BOUQUET ✿

1. Completely unwrap your bouquet from paper and floral tape/string.
2. Using a pair of sharp scissors or sheers, cut about an inch off the bottom stems of the the flowers. 
3. Fill a clean vase with room temperature water about 3/4 of the way and place flowers in vase. If you would like to add a flower food mix to your flowers, please refer to our natural DIY Flower Food Recipe below!
4. It is super important to make sure that there are no leaves under the water line. Leaves in the water will cause bacteria to grow much faster, and flowers are very sensitive to any bacteria in the water.
5. Completely refresh your vase water every 2-3 days. 
6. Keep flowers away from drafts, hot places or ripening fruit.

✿ CARING FOR YOUR ARRANGEMENT IN A VASE ✿

1. Flowers drink a lot of water! Simply add water to your vase as the flowers drink it up.
2. Completely change the water in your arrangement every 2 to 3 days. The easiest way to do this with an already-styled arrangement is to simply rinse out the old water by running the vase water under the faucet (the best place to do this can be in the shower or bathtub).
3. Your arrangement does not come with flower food in it. Refer to our natural DIY Flower Food Recipe below if you would like to add any!
4. Keep flowers away from any drafts, hot places or ripening fruit.

✿ DIY FLOWER FOOD RECIPE ✿

If you would like to add a flower food mix to your flowers, mix two tablespoons of white vinegar, two tablespoons of sugar, and one quart lukewarm water. Flowers drink a lot of water so make sure to also keep the water level high!

What is your wedding process?

We limit the number of weddings and events we take on each month in order to fully focus on providing exceptional service and designs for our clients. Because of this, we don't offer pre-set packages, however we do have a minimum spend policy in place and offer a budget-range for our clients. We create custom wedding and event services tailored to each client's specific vision. Our floral expertise is available for weddings and special events of all sizes.

Do you have a minimum spend for weddings?

As we take on a limited number of weddings and events each season, we have established a minimum spending requirement of €1,700 during the 2024 wedding peak season (May through to October). We are also available to assist you in achieving your wedding vision within your budget through our consultation services.

Do you have a minimum spend for events?

Our company specializes in creating beautiful floral arrangements for both private and corporate events. We have a minimum budget requirement of €1,900 for this fully catered service. Our consultation services are here to help you realize your dream event within your financial means. We are at your disposal to guide you through the process.

Do you offer rentals for weddings and events?

In order to better serve our clients, we offer a variety of rental items such as arches, candles, fabrics, and vases for weddings and events. However, if you require something more specific, we're happy to recommend other rental companies or offer alternative options.

Can I work with Amanecer Floral and another florist for my wedding / event?

To uphold the quality of our brand portfolio, we require that Amanecer Floral is the only floral designer for each wedding and event. This means we will not provide our services if another floral designer is already involved in the same wedding or event. We have this policy in place in order to protect the integrity and quality of our design.

How long do I need to book your services before my wedding or event?

As we take on a limited number of weddings per week, and due to high demand during peak months, we recommend reaching out to us at least 6 months to 1 year in advance of your wedding or event date. To schedule a free initial consultation, please send us an email to hello@amanecerfloral.design and we will respond within 3-5 business days. We ask that you provide a detailed description of your vision and any inspiration images. Following that, we will schedule a phone, video, or in-person meeting to discuss your floral needs in more detail.

Do you offer floral consultations?

We offer an initial complimentary floral consultation for all interested clients, followed by an additional complimentary consultation for those who have booked our services. Our floral consultations are in place to help us understand your floral vision and needs, they usually last approximately 30-60 minutes, and are held either over phone, video, or in-person at our shop.

How many times can I change my quote before my wedding / event?

Clients are permitted to make adjustments to their quoted services within one month prior to their wedding or event date, provided that a deposit has been paid and the contract has been signed. We offer 2 complimentary quote revisions, any additional quote revision is €50. These changes must be communicated in writing, either through email or in person during the final consultation. However, it should be noted that the total amount agreed upon in the contract may not be decreased by more than 15% as a result of these modifications.

How do you go about your flower selection for my wedding / event?

We prioritize handpicking rare, unique, and seasonal blooms to enhance each occasion and uphold the quality of our brand portfolio. The price of the flowers vary as we carefully select them for their beauty and to create natural, deconstructed designs that showcase the beauty of the flowers themselves.

What if I have to postpone or cancel my wedding / event?

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have established guidelines for postponing or canceling weddings and events in accordance with the Portuguese government regulations. These policies are outlined in our contract for your reference. We recognize that the outbreak and its effects are beyond anyone's control, and we remain committed to being accommodating and understanding of our clients' needs. In the case that you have to postpone your wedding / event not due to COVID-19, the deposit and any amounts paid will be then paused on-hold until the rescheduling date is confirmed. In the case that you need to cancel your wedding / event not due to COVID-19, any payments will be refunded to your account.
